The jHASE general call for articles in the rapidly evolving field of surveillance and applied epidemiology of HIV and related diseases is intended to establish a cohesive body of exemplary reference literature which has undergone quality assurance through rigorous peer review, disseminate such findings and provide continuing education through open access media. The need for open access to peer-reviewed scholarly reference work is especially acute in parts of the world most adversely affected by HIV and related conditions. More...

jHASE MILESTONES/DEVELOPMENTS: jHASE partners with World Health Organization (WHO) and Google Scholar: WHO-sponsored African Index Medicus (AIM) and Google Scholar to index jHASE articles

 
In a landmark milestone for jHASE, the World Health Organization, WHO-sponsored African Index Medicus (AIM) has accepted jHASE for indexing in its index of biomedical scientific journals and articles of relevance to Africa. In separate arrangements, Google Scholar will cross-index all articles indexed in AIM and PubMed Medline, thus positioning Google Scholar towards becoming a more comprehensive index of biomedical literature than Medline.
