Faculty of 500! Recruitment Spotlight
Join our Faculty of 500! and contribute your content to the MEGACourse! The MEGACourse at the Institute of HIV/AIDS Surveillance & Epidemiology - iHASE, Journal of HIV/AIDS Surveillance & Epidemiology - jHASE, and the Model Collaboration Center - mCC are collaborating with the College of Applied Epidemiology - CAE to jointly invite all those who are eligible for MCAE and FCAE certification (including jHASE readers, peer reviewers, editors and authors; and iHASE-affiliated or equivalent in-service program faculty and preceptors) to join our global virtual network of the Faculty of 500!
  • The MEGACourse serves as an all-encompassing repository and mechanism for open access exchange of in-service training curriculum content on applied and translational HIV/AIDS epidemiology (in support of internships, fellowships and junior faculty research development programs) including: a) exchange of peer reviewed research project concepts and protocols, and development of collaborative in-service training research projects; b) quality assurance and continuing education through peer review; and c) MEGACourse short courses/lecture series, seminars, tutorials, journal club, in-service training projects, and the interest group/listserv on topics of relevance to:
  • To join the Faculty of 500! and begin contributing/participating in the above-referenced activities, please send a brief letter of interest by e-mail with the following information:
    • A link to your completed Community of Science PHS.398 format profile ( Join & Submit your CosProfile for Free ) and, if available, please include an attachment of a presentation you would like to contribute in PowerPoint or PDF to ihase {at} ieph.org ;
    • A completed 1-page CAE - College of Applied Epidemiology accreditation form for potential faculty /training program preceptors - Form B(cae-accreditation) which is accessible through this link (please complete this form in its entirety if you are a self-nominee/applicant seeking to join the faculty of 500!). Potential faculty/preceptors are to use this form to also indicate/reference experience and qualifications described on the bio sketch which substantiates eligibility for MCAE and/or FCAE credentialing of potential faculty/preceptors.
    • If available, please attach your best sample presentation relevant to our field that you would like to contribute to the MEGACourse (a short course/lecture, tutorials and/or seminar presentation) in PowerPoint or PDF to ihase {at} ieph.org ;
